How to Switch from the Public Plan to a Private Trial

Projects created in the public version of Exploratory are saved in a public state.

If you’d like to try Exploratory in a private environment, you can use the paid version for free for 30 days after signing up for an Exploratory account.

This note explains how to do that.

Go to the Account Settings Page

First, log in Exploratory server.

After logging in, click on your account icon and select Account Setting.

Once you’re on the Account Settings page, scroll down and select Change Plan.

Next, choose either the Business(including Business Plus and Premier) or Personal plan.

At this point, no payment information is required, so just check the box to agree to the terms of service and update the plan.

That completes the plan change.

If you want to check the expiration date of the trial period, click the account icon again and select Account Settings.

You can confirm the expiration date of your trial under the current plan.

Install the Private Version of Exploratory Desktop

The public and private versions of Exploratory are separate applications. Once you’ve completed the plan change, download and install the private version of the application from the link below.
