The above network result of the 10 readings are quite consistent - Zack is always the center in the network with larger nodes (higher number of messages posted) and darker nodes (higher number of replies received), followed by Jaydon. There are students who are moderately active, such as Salome, Colleen, Emery, Jewelina, and Janice. Students who do not engage in the readings actively include SarahD, Maximo, and Jane. Their names do not appear in every reading's network, meaning that they do not make annotations every week.

Total network

The total network matches with the above observation of each reading. In the above total network, Zack is the center of the class, followed by Jaydon, Colleen, Emery, and Janice etc., which is a similar pattern for individual readings.

Students who are not active in the readings remain the same with those identified in individual readings, e.g. SarahD, Maximo, and Jane. It shows that the pattern of students' annotation in each reading is quite consistent throughout the whole semester. Active students are likely to be active in every reading, while inactive students annotate occasionally in some readings.

From the above data, we can see that Zack has the highest degree (225), followed by Jaydon (140) and Colleen (130). These are the top three students who got the highest interactions with other classmates.

For betweenness centrality, Zack has the highest number (7.0), followed by Colleen (4.5) and Siqi Du (3.8), meaning that their comments reach more users in a shorter path compared to the others. It is worth noting that Jaydon has a high number of degree (140) but a relatively low betweenness centrality (0.63). It may be because he has a lot of direct connections with classmates, but not heavily involved in the other different discussion clusters created by classmates.

Regarding the analysis of the pattern of myself, I found out that I am usually not the most active or central person in each reading. However, in the total analysis, my interactions with other classmates are one of the highest. I realized this may be because I am usually one of the earliest students to annotate every week, therefore there is a higher possibility for other students to reply to my threads later.
