I have joined two data sets, 'Venture Capital Investments by Stage' and 'Venture Capital Investments by Stage - Number of Deals' from Quandl' so that I could calculate the 'investiment amounts per deal'. On top of this measure, I have applied a forecasting algorithm with Prophet package and visualize both the forecasted values and the trend line to understand the overall trends.
As you can see though, the 'amounts per deal' going way up outside of the trend zone for the last one year or so for Seed stage. This goes to show that there is some sort of bubble even compared to the last 5 years standard that have been talked about as 'bubble'.
