Description

Two sets of three people were independently asked how tall they thought the tallest tree was. Group A was first asked if they thought it was taller or shorter than 100 feet; 1000 feet for Group B. This plot shows the answers they gave for the height of the tallest tree. You can clearly see the bias based on the anchoring effect.
